The national CIRRNET meeting will take place, entitled «Using CIRS Knowledge to Prevent Never Events» will take place in the afternoon of 19 November 2021. This event will take up the central congress theme in terms of content and integrate it in to the practical work of the national network. In this manner, the CIRRNET conference is thus not only connected to the Never Events congress in terms of time and place, but also thematically. One focus of the conference is to identify ways in which the motto of learning from mistakes can provide a new dynamic for the prevention of Never Events. The second main topic is to be considered in the same context: The analysis of medical device misadjustment reports – the theme of the 2020 CIRRNET reporting month – points to many fundamental problems in medical device applications.
